It's been a looong time since I took a brick and mortar Latin course, so I was a little lost in all of the grammatics. That being said, I am very fluent in medical Latin, but wanted a leg up in heraldic usage as well as things like bases of romance language words and fooling around in some of the urban fantasy stuff (some authors get their giggle on by using latin words in spell working that are really funny if you know their meaning, not threatening or harmful).I cannot testify as to whether the format is useful to others, but (except for the declensions), I found it very well suited to my needs. I am very happy to have this on my tablet for quick reference.

Pretty decent read implementing these tools, “I was provided a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.”
an excellent book and free copy sent for review also
“I was provided a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.” The book is decent. I used it as a refresher since I took Latin in school and used it a little in graduate school. I did notice difference between the way I was thought to say phrases and the way the book says to say them, that was the biggest disappointment.
An interesting read, but grammar is not very well explained and Latin isn't the most useful language.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, and I gave an honest review.
A very uncomplicated way to learn the language and the distinctions between the classical and ecclesiastical dialects. Good for focused study as well as handy as a carry-along on digital devices. The .pdf version could be enhanced by adding audio to help the reader hear the sounds as words are used in sentences. Shows author's knowledge of the language, its grammar and the ability to lay it out in an easily digestible format. Received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
I thought it'd be fun to learn Latin. After I received this book, I saw how complex Latin is and I also remembered that I won't really find the use of Latin in my life, so I gave up. I expected it to be more similar to English, German or Spanish. I am really glad I don't have to learn Latin at the uni.
The book in itself is a nice collection of vocabulary and ready-to-use sentences. Grammar is not well explained and I find some of the descriptions not clear, but maybe it's just me. I am not sure if I'd recommend this book.

Excellent explanatory guide to each faucet of Latin grammar. will take me some time to actually assimilate the accents and meanings of the words. Gave easy to understand charts of how to sound out words similar to the English sounds. Was quite surprised many Latin words were familiar in the English language. Well written book.
